Shortly after shedding the weight, I had a stroke. My doctor told me to thank whomever introduced me to that healthy lifestyle change because they saved my life. If I’d not have lost all of that weight and achieved all of the health benefits that came along with it, I surely would not have survived the stroke. I’ve been married to the love of my life for 26 years and we have 9 beautiful children. The thought of leaving them without a father brings me to my knees.
